Our Topical ConferencesFor many years, the Microbeam Analysis Society has sponsored a series of topical conferences on subjects of interest to its membership. Beginning in 2002, MAS partnered with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to host these workshops. Beginning in 2008, MAS has worked with other partner institutions in the hosting of these workshops. A listing of past MAS Topical Conferences can be found here. Our next workshop will be Microanalysis of Particles (Particles 2009), April 20-23 at the College of Microscopy in the Chicago area.
