MAS Awards to be presented at M&M 2010

MAS awards will be presented at the opening reception of M&M 2010 on Monday, August 2 in Portland, OR.

Presentations to include the winners of the:

  • MAS Distinguished Scholar Award (DSA) (listing includes time and room of presentation, along with link to award-winning paper)
  • M&M 2009 Outstanding Paper Awards (with link to award winning paper)
    • Castaing Award - Best Student Paper, sponsored by Cameca Instruments
    • Birks Award - Best Contributed Paper, sponsored by JEOL-USA
    • Cosslett Award - Best Invited Paper
    • Macres Award - Best Instrumentation / Software Paper, sponsored by Oxford Instruments
  • Presidential Awards (with link to awardee photo and bio)
    • Presidential Service Award
    • Presidential Science Award
    • K.F.J. Heinrich Award
  • Peter Duncumb Award for Excellence in Microanalysis (with links to awardee photo and bio), sponsored by Bruker AXS Microanalysis
